Art Classes for Kids

  • Art 6-8 Years old

    This course for 6-8 year olds will explore how we communicate through art. I hope to offer vocabulary for viewing and creating art by hands on experimentation with a handful of mediums and exercises.

    With this class, I aim each week to offer kids a low stakes environment to experiment and explore a new medium and design concept. Let’s have fun learning about art concepts and historical movements/figures.

    Art is a powerful mode of expression, play and introspection and a skill that encourages grit, focus and dealing with disappointment. I aim to guide students to experiment with new mediums and concepts in a low stakes environment.
