Art Club for young ones and siblings (age 5-11). All kids must be able to write their own name, use scissors independently and be capable of taking directions (under 3 minute explanations). I always try to make my lessons achievable for small hands and scalable for when I get students who are older or ultra capable. I wanted to design this class to be a small group with room for every age and ability of kiddo.
Each class will have a warm up, a ‘main course’ project and I always sneak in some fillers for early finishers or kids that want to do a little extra. I aim to introduce new materials and techniques every class. I teach terminology and historical references that will inform budding art practices across whatever mediums students pursue in the future.
Runs October 2st to November 13th.
